A celebration to honour the outstanding achievements of students and industry, the Hunter TAFE Awards provide an opportunity to recognise the achievements of our students for their exceptional commitment to their studies and their contribution to their industry and the community.
The Hunter TAFE Awards are held in May each year, and comprise of a line-up of awards including 19 Industry-sponsored awards, Apprentice and Trainee of The Year Awards, Institute excellent awards, TAFE NSW Ambassador Prizes, the TAFE NSW State Medals and Statewide Awards.

UON sponsored The China Australia Millennial Project Summit (CAMP) in Sydney, June 1-5, bringing together young innovators from Australia and China to tackle global challenges. Three finalist teams pitched their idea to the CAMP Gala Dinner, with the winning team receiving a trip to China to compete in the OTEC Entrepreneurs Summit. We are pleased to announce the winning team included UON graduate, Kate Cavanah, and was mentored by Professor Maree Gleeson.
